Vertical Roots Canada currently have three vertical hydroponic farms in Alberta, Canada. Edmonton, Leduc and St. Paul launched in 2023 with 3 local residence who were passionate about growing local food. Vertical Roots Canada is focused on creating food security and local business opportunity. They began their journey with our 20W tube lights but desired more power and efficiency. Through our Customized Light Program, we developed a game-changing 60W tube light with dual spectrums!

They started their journey with a trial of the 20W LED Tubes, and now grow with 36 of them. We love to see small businesses blossom, and we couldn’t be more excited for their success and involvement in their community; with attending many farmers markets and getting their greens featured in dishes for the Ala Moana Hotel!

Renowned for their winning strains and commitment to micro-batching, Good Buds embarked on a transformative journey with Aelius LED, as they started with our Aelius Matrx 630XR’s in three of their fourteen grow rooms, taking advantage of local rebates and Aelius LED’s Commercial Trial Program. Since they were pleased with the results, they incorporated the Aelius Matrx 630F’s, with plans to transition their entire facility to LED technology.
