FortisBC – Horticultural LED Lighting Rebates 

If you’re a grower using FortisBC or municipal electricity, this is one of the most direct BC LED lighting rebates available. It supports upgrades for greenhouses and warehouses developed for indoor crop production. 

Rebate Tiers (per fixture)

  • $16 for ultra-low output (<100 µmol/s) 
  • $64 for low output (100–350 µmol/s) 
  • $240 for medium output (350–1400 µmol/s) 
  • $570 for high output (>1400 µmol/s

  • DLC-listed LED fixtures (like Aelius LEDs) 
  • Facility must be purpose-built for crop production

FortisBC – Commercial Lighting Rebates for Non-Profit Organizations 

This rebate program targets non-profits and Indigenous organizations that serve income-qualified individuals. It applies to both retrofit and new build projects, and covers DLC-certified lighting (including Aelius LEDs). 

Eligibility

  • Must be a FortisBC or participating municipal electric customer 
  • Must apply within 365 days of purchase 
  • Installation required within 180 days
